Make Your own ringtone for iPhone

So, many iPhones' users have no absolute clue how easy it would be to actually have their own custom made ringtones instead of those that comes with it. So today I'm gonna guide you through step by step and make your phone live the moment longer!

The core is you need to have latest iTunes installed and running on your computer regardless of what OS whether is Windows 7, 8 and 10 or Mac OS Mavericks, OS X Yosemite and OS X El Capitan. Make sure the software is up to date. To install, kindly visit the link provided to Download the official software released by Apple.

1. Now to kick it off, launch your iTunes and make sure you have had medias on your iTunes. You should be interacting with interface like this:

I'm using OS X but it shouldn't have much difference on Windows.

2. Select any song of your choice and right click it, where in my case, I've chosen Blank Space to demonstrate the procedure, move your selection to "Get Info"

3. Click it and this should appear, go to the Options Tab, where you get to set the starting time and end time of the songs you have chosen. In example, a song is 3 minutes, you set the start time as 2:20 and end time as 2:50, and save it. Then when you re-play the song it will only play the part selected. Note: To make it as ringtone, part selected shouldn't exceed 30 seconds.

Mark on the Start and Stop start and key in the timeframe you preferred.
Remember not to exceed 30 seconds.

My selected length is 20 seconds so it will work just fine.

4. And try playing the music you chosen to make sure it only plays the part you framed earlier. Then now, right click again to move your cursor to "Create AAC Version". Give it a few seconds for it to process and you should see a same song name but it only has the length you selected.

5. Once the AAC file is created, drag the newly created shorter length song  to your desktop and delete the one on your iTunes. Once you have delete the AAC version, go back to the original song of your choice, right click, Get info, go to the Options Tab and uncheck the Start and End box so that your song can play properly for your future needs or else it will just stays at the frame you selected.

6. So we are done with iTunes. Moving the attention on the file we dragged to our desktop. What you gotta do is just rename it from m4a to m4r. A warning will pop out but you just need to ignore it and choose use .m4r

7. Once it has been converted to .m4r, now what you need to do is just drag it into iTunes and place it into the Tones's section symbolised by a bell, connect your iPhone and sync it! Enjoy the ever favourite song of yours anytime anywhere! Note if you drag it into Music tab on iTunes it wont show up on your iPhone.

As what I'm presenting is for readers running on OS X, Windows will work just as likely, not much difference. If you have any doubts, please leave a comment below or send me an email!

Enjoy!

Regards.
